MP3 market set to jump to 286 millions units by 2010
In-Stat are reporting that we are not anywhere near the peak of the MP3 Market, they are estimating that worldwide MP3 players sales will jump from 140 million units in 2005 to 286 million in 2010.
This is due to increased player capacity, and more and more legitimate pay-per download music sites such as Apple’s itunes.
This can only be good news for Apple who currently have around a 75% share of the market with their iPod music device.
