Low Cost Airline giving out iPods
Volaris, a low budget Mexican airline is renting passengers iPods for the duration of their flight. The moves comes as United Airlines are working on a deal with Apple to get iPod Connectors fitted into their aircraft. Volaris are handing out 30GB ipod Videos loaded with popular music and Mexican TV. They hope to soon have American sitcoms loaded in the near future.
“We’re the first to use iPod’s. We like it because no one else has it,” said public relations officer Alfonso Collantes. “We just went out and bought a bunch of iPods and started giving them out to passengers,”
