iPod continues to be dominant player among teens
Apple is still gaining market share according to new research, according to Piper Jaffrays half yearly teen survey 77% of students who own an MP3 player have an iPod. This is amazing and is up from 74% last autumn. Online Music sales are also up with 71% of teens saying they regularly use the iTunes music store. Its not surprising to see Apple being the dominant force in the MP3 market but it is a surprise to see they have taken a larger market share in the face of tougher competition.
