iPhone in the UK this week?
There are strong rumours that the iPhone could be released in hte UK this week.
Apple is expected to announce O2 as the UK’s official network provider tomorrow at a press conference in London. It is also rumoured that the iPhone could go on sale by the end of the week.
In the U.K., The Guardian claims O2 finally secured a last minute exclusive on the iPhone by agreeing to give Apple 40 percent of iPhone-generated revenue plus a percentage of the sale price. Carphone Warehouse has also been signed up as the sole independent distributor of the product, other than Apple and O2.
