A report claims that Apple may be introducing streaming technology to the iphone.
The new 2.0 iPhone software reportedly contains references to a utility that allows the iPhone or iPod touch to play media from nearby iTunes sources, and includes mentions of dialogue boxes to allow users to choose their source library or media type.
The Apple stores in Japan are for 1 week only selling limited edition iPod Touch cases and iPod Nano 3G cases.
The cases come with gold writing on the back which indicate the district where the iPod case was bought. They also include Japanese style etchings including fish and temples.
ITV has announced that a selection of its Classic TV shows will be available on iTunes to download on your iPod.
Shows such as Cold Feet, Brideshead Revisited, Inspector Morse, Lewis will be available while later in the year Classic programs will such as Captain Scarlet, The Prisoner and the Saint will be available.
Soon you will be able to watch Inspector Morse on your ipod Touch, iPod Classic and iPhone.
Apple will be releasing the new 3G iPhone in a matter of weeks.
Reports suggest that the 3G iPhone will be available in Italy through Telecom Italia Mobile. The agreement is said to include a the retailer to sell the iPhone unlocked for a higher price.
O2 have slashed the price of the iPhone fueling speculation that a 3G version of the iPhone will be released later this year.

A breakthrough in technology could see the memory capacity of devices such as the iPod increase by 150,000 times, Glasgow University researchers claimed. Two experts said they had developed a molecule-sized switch which means that data storage could be boosted without having to increase the size of devices.
Professor Lee Cronin and Dr Malcolm Kadodwala, from the university’s chemistry department, said their work could see 500,000 gigabytes squeezed into a microchip no bigger than a two pence piece.

A Nike+ spokesperson confirmed the expansion, adding that it could also make use of the devices’ Wi-Fi capabilities (and possibly the iPhone’s upcoming 3G connection) to allow users to update their training log on the fly, without the need for docking with a computer.
