Apple release new U2 iPod

Apple have released a new version of its U2 iPod this week, the new iPod will be a 30GB iPod video with a U2 theme. It will feature a red click wheel and have the bands signatures engraved on the back of the iPod. It will retail at £239 in the UK and comes with a voucher to download exclusive videos from the itunes music store. Apple said U2 iPod customers will also receive 30 minutes of exclusive U2 videos from the iTunes Music Store with their purchase. “We’re thrilled to continue working with one of the greatest bands in the world to bring U2 fans a special edition of the world’s best digital music player,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s VP iPod Product Marketing. “With its distinctive new design, including an all-black stainless steel enclosure, the new U2 iPod is sure to be a hit.”

DLO introduce new U2 Video iPod case

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters has already announced a case specially made for the iPod Video U2 which was released early this week. The new Cross case has a red and black leather build with a protective flip-over cover, credit card holder and belt clip. The case is very limited edition and will be availble for around £35.

Numark announce idj2 for iPod

Finally Numark have released an update of their very popular iDj iPod mixer. The iDj 1 was very popular but was more of a novelty with customer and was not picked up by many Dj’s due to not being able to change the speed of the tracks and lack of many other features they need. The iDj2 has been vastly updated you know only need one iPod and the mixer can pull 3 tracks down from the iPod at one time. You can also change the speed of the tracks which is vital for mixing. This is going to be released early June and should be a massive hit.

Griffin are to release Bookcase for iPod Nano

This is same as the version that was released for the Mac OS X last year. iPresent allows user to convert Powerpoint or PDF into slideshows that will work on your iPod.
