Apple announce iPod Touch & iPhone Updates

Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced a number of upgrades for Mac operating systems at Macworld in San Francisco yesterday, including a major software updgrade for the recently released iPod touch and a free upgrade for the iPhone.

The iPod touch update includes five more mobile applications with the upgrade, including Mail, Maps, Stocks, Weather and Notes, along with new features like Web Clips, a customizable home screen, and the ability to watch iTunes Movie Rentals. This will be available on all new iPod Touch’ s sold from now but will cost an extra $20 for existing customers.
